entrepreneurship books?
I saw a fat lady on the shuttle reading "Art of the Start." If I recall correctly, it was a trendy 2000s book on start-ups, written by a VC. Does anyone know any other good books on entrepreneurship? Not necessarily software or technology specific...

"Getting everything you can out of everything you got."
Actually I think "Art" only came out in the last 6-12 months... and I think he would consider himself a "recovering VC".
Anyway, I like Marcus Buckingham's books... he writes more on managing than pure entrepreneurialship, but it's a skill you'll need.
You can go back to the source too... Peter Drucker's "
Innovation and Entrepreneurship" is excellent.

Reading about entrepreneurship kinda seems like reading about running to me. It ain't something you read about, it's something you do.
I'm a firm believer in not repeating other peoples' mistakes.
Personally, I want to create an entirely NEW class of mistakes. ;)

Fair point. Books are good for knowing what NOT to do as an entrepreneur.
Totally true and well put Colm. Reading about running is no substitute. That said, I have got some good pointers from Runners World.
