You guys can see the IP addresses, did you try to match them up to any regular posters? Please name names so I can start in with the personal attacks.

I heard it was Kim Il Jung doing the poo posts. Word has it that the moderators were asked not to reveal this as a matter of national security - it's all very hush hush. See, there was steganographic messages regarding North Korean nuclear materials sales to Iran secretly encoded in those posts.

So much for the code of silence amongst the moderators. Too bad we have to shoot Rich Rogers now.

I heard it was Anthony Flew, trying to disrupt the forum because he was sick of us talking about him.

I actually sent an email to Joel and asked the same question, but only because I was guessing I may know who it was and I was curious how good my 'nose' was. No response... but then, I sent it with no expectation of getting one.

I was never able to match the IPs but I never went to a lot of effort to do so, either.

Uh...does it even matter who posted them? Why attack them? Why do you even care?

I only cared because once or twice I got eerie feelings that it may have been a coworker. Our firewall would've meant that my IP matched theirs. Sometimes my daily dose of paranoia is beyond healthy... Mostly though, it serves me well.

That would be funny. The thing is...do you find a lot of your posts being caught by the Bayesian filter now? If not, then the poster wouldn't have your IP address. Joel once said that when a moderator removes posts it modifies the filter, which would increase its sensitivity to your IP.

That was something that added suspicion, it wasn't typically filtering (that I know of) but I started not getting responses from the site when I'd try to post sometimes. I just give up on posting those replies for the most part.

I'm not located there anymore so my IP's would be completely different now anyhow. I just wondered if particular coworkers found their incompetence so unbearable and my existence so interesting that they would bother harassing me in such a fashion. I do take my paranoia with a healthy dose of salt though.

Man, now that I think about it, that has to be rough on the blood pressure....
