All of my life I have suffered by being a victim of discrimination.  I have never heard of any study or report regarding the unfair treatment that I've received. My pain does not equal that of other groups, but it is real none the less.

I am a victim of alphabetical discrimination.  My last name starts with a letter near the end of the alphabet. Everywhere I go people discriminate against me.  In elementary school it was seat assignments, lines to the cafeteria, school pictures, roll call, and more. I get the similar treatment today from employers and government institutions.  I suspect the IRS sends my refunds later than to those blessed to be at the front of the alphabet.

Those of us at the end of the alphabet should unite and demand our deserved equal rights.  Thanks for letting me share my pain.
