A lot of those movies are from Musicians turned actor.

And probably some other themes. I couldn't find Freddie got Fingered...sad.

I'm seeing a lot of MST3k titles. I wonder if it would look different if MST3k hadn't brought attention to some of them.

I love this IMDB and the user comments. They don't seem to filter anything. This one is a good laugh on the Justin and Kelly movie.

"And I only watched the first 25 minutes."

"This is the worst thing humanity has ever done."

Maybe the worst movies are ones where a 1 really is a valid score.

One thing that really bugs me about IMDB is the number of voters who try to maximize the effect of their input by polarizing their votes - It's either a 10, or it's a 1. For every middling movie there are usually thousands of 1 voters, and thousands of 10 voters.

There also seems to be a trend for newer movies to be in the list of worst ever movies.

Another interesting category for worst movies would be "Worst movies that have won Academy Awards". Top on my list is Chariots of Fire, and The Turning Point.

Hmm.. and a slight skew towards movies with Hulk Hogan. Curious.
