This place is a lot less interesting..
..when I'm not supposed to be working.
I had to take today off to wait for a repairman, so I thought, "Great, I can spend some time reading JOS without that guilty 'I should get back to work' feeling." But while this group is usually absorbingly interesting, today I just glance at the headlines and realize that I could be catching up on my TiVo'd movies. Ditto with Slashdot, CNet, Engadget, and the other sites that are normally so fascinating. Strange, huh?
Be back tomorrow when I should be writing code instead.

Post something interesting. There has been very little provocative material lately.
This place is absorbingly interesting?
Perhaps that's the whole appeal of this place. You can talk about anything, but looking at the server logs, you could be talking about work.
It's the snow. People don't get really-really frustrated when they're snowed in. Now, if they were snowed in for a week, things might get interesting again....

It's the guilt that gives it the spice, Rosco... ;-) ;-)

This board has been WAY less interesting lately than when it was first started. Admittedly, the purge of the poo slingers was a Good Thing(TM), but very little posters seem to care any more.
Kinda like the Wild West after all the pioneer wives and schoolmarms moved in, hey? ;-) ;-)

It figures, you can fake excitement for a while, but if you really are an exciting personaliy, do you really think you would spend your time posting to a discussion forum?

No. And I seem to be posting more and more.
