How to handle user verification
Each user has a "homepage." The URL is a hash of their username, email, and some password they give.
If the [homepage] link next to their name is purple, they're not being spoofed.
Downsides: If you click on a spoofed [homepage], you have to remove it from your history for it to work.
Yup. I'm a genius.

Downside 2: It only works as long as your history stays intact.

Dear Sir I'd like to join in in your wonderfully free and anarchic conversation but I don't have a website or homepage and I wouldn't know what a 'hash value' was if I had it for breakfast.
Yours...
it's like a hash brownie, but with pot.
