the stoned thread in the main forum was for in here
hahaha :-)
fuckI think it is gone already , if it ever appeared. I have no idea what thread you are refering to. Repost?
Now there's an example of the filter doing it's job.
stoned ha ha ha ha! Dan Monday, January 02, 2006 (Deleted Automatically) Well, we sure are lucky to have been able to retrieve it. Imagine that verse had been lost to history. Oh the humanity
I especially like the fourth "ha". It's so rare you see a fourth one these days.
Don't try posting threads that distract from the incredibly boring and moronic "Java versus C Pointers" discussions.
Well, people have to have their religious debates somewhere. In general, we try to minimize them, I think.
Somebody needs to generate "yet another" new language for people to fight about. Perl vs PHP anybody? Personally, I've always been fond of Pascal/Delphi/ObjectPascal. Even Ada, for that matter. I don't think there's a demand for "yet another" new language though -- we're still digesting C++, C#, Java, Perl, and PHP, and Python. Allan - it's already here in the Ruby/Ruby on Rails. I read a great book called Beyond Java that summarized the difference between the languages that might replace Java.
http://www.cornetdesign.com/2005/12/beyond-java-glimpse-at-future-of.html "I was intrigued to see what he would have to say about moving beyond Java. In short: If you're a hard-core Java (or to a lesser extent, C#) developer who thinks Ruby is something that goes on a ring, Pythons will bite you, and Smalltalk is something you have to do at parties, you are in for a rude awakening."
