guy seems more like a three-piece-suit than a coder. Did he write VisiCalc with his own hand? Guy's written some code ever?

Absolutely he did, just cos we're old folks doesn't mean we can't make stuff work.
It was VisiCalc that made the AppleII a useable business machine and Visicalc was the first computer application (for ordinary individuals), that did something they couldn't do themselves in some other non-computer way.
Really? When watching his interview in Joel's movie, he seemed much more like a hard core old school nerd, especially when compared to pretty boy Paul Graham.
