Wally is my favourite

Dilbert characters I like in decreasing order of liking:

(1) Wally
(2) Boss
(3) Dilbert
(4) Dogbert, Ratbert, Catbert
(5) Alice
(6) Asok

I'm a little disappointed there's no Anoop in any of Dilbert. I think he makes a potential contender.

One quote that might be of interest:
Weasel Zone: There's a gigantic gray area between good, moral behavior and outright felonious activities. I call that the Weasel Zone* and it's where most of life happens.

*Sometimes also known as Weaselville, Weaseltown, the Way Of The Weasel, Weaselopolis, Weaselburg and Redmond.
And one of my favorite strips:

Boss: From now on, this is going to be a fun organization.

Wally (to the boss): When are you leaving?

Wally (defaced, to Dilbert, in the next sketch box): I had no idea that a rubber chicken could hurt so much.

Arrange your favorites in your particular order of liking.

I had a weird feeling that a random selector would choose a sensible list that reflects my views. It says:
Wally
Dogbert, Ratbert, Catbert
Asok
Alice
Dilbert
Boss

Not bad at all! That list doesn't look wrong to me.

I prefer the fringe characters:

(1) Bob the Dinosaur
(2) Liz
(3) World's smartest garbage man
(4) Ted (the recurring fall-guy)
(5) Antina, the non-stereotypical female (I'd put her higher, but she was a brilliant one-off)

I am thinking of getting a Wally tattoo on my forehead.

Wally at the trade show:

"What free stuff have you got? Cheap pens? That's original. Load me up, but I can't give you any eye contact."

The recurring theme at the AMD road show a month ago was "when do we get the _free_ _stuff_."

Antina: "That monitor you're using is supposed to be 17", but it's really more like 15 and a half."

and

"Wanna help me take the coffee maker apart for no reason?"

Wally is my role model.

Wally to PHB: "I have an idea for boosting my performance. You wisely coached us to use all of our vacation days every year, because we come back recharged. Our renewed motivation is more than enough to compensate for the missed days. My plan is to leverage that competetive advantage -- I'll take a fifteen year vacation and return ten minutes before retirement. Then I'll be SO recharged the I'll pounce and do TWENTY YEARS of work in MINUTES!!!... Unless it's near a holiday, in which case do you mind if I leave early?"
