The 60s had it all
I'm nstalgic for the 60s and I don't even remember them, being only five when they finished.
They had a lot of excellent music, whether your thing was Motown, Psyschedelia, or whatever. Great TV and films. The most charismatic American President ever. And don't get me started on the Free Love.
And what do we get? George Bush, Snoop Doggy Dog or whatever he's calling himself this week, and AIDS. Thanks, God, you bastard.

I'm fairly sure that the absolute majority of people in the 60s did not live in a commune, and did not engage in free love.
Similarly, half a century from now our own decade will be remembered as the time of Paris Hilton.
Ah but 68 was a wonderful summer.
Not in Indochina it wasn't.
I imagine not, that could be said of somewhere anywhere on the planet at any time. 1968 would still be a great summer though.
Heh. I remember something a professor of mine mentioned. Apparently when one of the leaders of the 60s Civil Rights movement was asked what the position of the women was in his organization, he replied "prone".
If you can remember the 60s, you weren't there.
mmm...do vague memories of a holiday when I was three count?
