Should Kofi Annan resign?
GWB would be very happy if Annan resigns.

OK, that's one reason he shouldn't resign.
Another is that even though the company hired his son to get access to the father -- it didn't work. Thus though his son could be accused of using his position, Kofi did nothing wrong.
At least, that's as far as the news stories I've heard have taken it.

I dont think so, it doesn't look like theres any real evidence that kofi did anythign wrong whatsoever, asside from the innuendo spread about by various pf the bush administration.
the trouble with having his son being a bit dodgy is that its *so* hard to 'prove' innocence in that situation, even other casual connections begin looking suspicious, but thats a *long* way from showing that he did anythign wrong.
also he appears to be very highly thought of in the world at large, that makes me very dubious about republican dislike of him.

I don't understand how anyone can not see that the U.N. is just as fucking crooked as everyone else. The food for oil program was/is a total sham. To think that Annan is innocent is laughable. The problem is, anyone who replaces him will be just as crooked.
