Y'all are a bunch of wankers!

Looking for a new position in NYC metro area ...

I am looking for a full-time position building financial applications as a Senior Developer utilizing my .NET and database development experience.

If anyone has any leads or suggestions, then feel free to drop me a line. I'm not interested in any "trader support" positions or any environment that is into "code and fix". In short, I'm a "get things done, right" kinda of guy.

Anyways, any help is appreciated.

what does no trader support mean? no front office jobs? no support?

Market is fairly strong. What part of "finance" ? Large i-bank? h-fund? finance software? Where are you now? How many years experience?

> what does no trader support mean?
I'm not sitting on a trading floor. However, I'm not oppposed to developing a trading system. As long as someone else is there for the day-to-day support.

>no front office jobs?
Not, completely. But, my best experiences have been mid-office/back-office.

>no support?
Ultimately, software is a service business. You have clients and frankly, I like people interaction and learning the business. Do I like traders that don't take the time to think about what they really need and yell about their latest whim? NO! I'd rather deal with a mid-office/back-office CPA type, who cares about getting the right answer the 1st time and can prioritize their requests. As opposed to a trader, who wants everything now and will scream if they don't get it.

>Market is fairly strong. What part of "finance" ?
I have a wide range of experience. Most recently, it seems focused around equity instruments.

>Large i-bank? h-fund? finance software?
Any of the above. Just remember, no trader support.

> Where are you now?
I'm in the 'burbs. I'm okay, with commuting into the city. Mid-town is preferred. I would do downtown for more money.

> How many years experience?
8 Years.

Drop me an email for more info.
