I had to pause it about 20 minutes in, for 15 minutes or so. When I came back I restarted it, and all was well. Then, about another 20 minutes in, I had forgotten I was not watching Live TV but rather the buffer on my DVR. When a commercial came up, I surfed channels. Oops.

On my DVR when you switch off of a channel that you had paused previously, the buffer is totally lost. When I switched back it was the ten o' clock news, already in progress. I missed like the last 15 minutes.

So how did it end?

He dies.

The crazy lady turned out to have some rare yet easily treatable copper retaining disorder that was causing her crazyness rather than mental illness. They treated it, she got better, she read some bad poetry, the show ended.

Damnit I was flipping channels with an odd gut feeling it might be on last night. I hardly watch TV, but in my hotel hovels, particularly the ones without internet access there's little else to do. I saw that on one night and damn, I really enjoyed it. The bit with the kid and the metal cat stuck in his nose and him 'sending in rescue teams' was great.

Television without pity is covering "House" but the recap isn't up quite yet.

New episodes start in about 2-3 weeks.

As long as it doesn't collide with Alias, Lost, or 24 I'll be happy. Unless I can get my mythTV box built first. ;)
