Looking to buy a bath robe for my wife, but I have no idea what is good or not. It looks like Egyptian Cotton is the best, but heck, who knows.
Anyone have any advice? Any robes / materials that worked for them?

Anyone have any advice? Any robes / materials that worked for them? Except for Hugh and Bob, no one wears a bathrobe enough to really worry about it.
Obviously, it has to be cotton. It should be long and thick and warm (note to Mark Warner - down boy!) I like terry towel, but the waffle ones are also nice. I hearby declare that "name yourself someone else day" is extended until I change it back on all the computers I use.
moron! I don't think you can go wrong with the "name" brands.
I bought my wife an Yves St Laurent bath robe about four years ago - its still as good now as it was when I bought it - and it wasn't that expensive either - about $125 AUD I may have a different price/vale scale, but I thought that was a good price, and honestly, the quality is A+++++ Hilton hotels have the best I've tried, ymmv...
http://www.hiltontohome.com/SearchSKU.asp?ID=080&SKU=HIL-B08-402-NL I thought we were deleting impersonators these days.
There would have been no posts yesterday if I kept that rule.
The only truly questionable spoof was Aaron becuase he wasn't around to notice or complain if he didn't like it. The rest of you know how to reach me. Err..? Yesterday there were like, two impersonations, that I noticed anyway.
This is a really bizarre thing to ask a bunch of guys, every woman has different preferences with this sort of thing... Theres a nice one at Victoria Secret that has silk on the outside and cotton or something else fuzzy on the inside that I know mine wants. LLBean has some decent ones too.
I told everyone to sign 'Philo' at the bottom of their post, not change their name to Philo.
:) also, Cory, I have to agree that it's pretty bizarre to ask a bunch of dorks on a programming forum what sort of bathrobe to get for your wife. :) > Yesterday there were like, two impersonations, that I noticed anyway.
I guess they were good spoofs, then. Careful stroking yourself too near the forum, Mark, we don't need anymore database problems.
:) No I meant your smug self-satisfied grin over there regarding your moderatorness allowing you to spot spoofs.
:) While my modship helped, there were a lot of odd posts with strange URLs behind the names...
Well, since I got two meaningful replies, maybe it wouldn't be so odd if the rest of you lot did something nice for your SO once in a while. ;)
Plus, who else am I going to ask? On a side note, that first post by the fake Mark Warner was perhaps one of the best impersinations I've seen yet. :) If you mistook that for me, then you REALLY haven't been paying attention.
A more authentic Mark Warner response would have been:
You fucking faggot! Buy her a thong and then play her ass like a bongo once she's tried it on. |
