Looking to buy a bath robe for my wife, but I have no idea what is good or not. It looks like Egyptian Cotton is the best, but heck, who knows.

Anyone have any advice? Any robes / materials that worked for them?

Except for Hugh and Bob, no one wears a bathrobe enough to really worry about it.

Obviously, it has to be cotton. It should be long and thick and warm (note to Mark Warner - down boy!) I like terry towel, but the waffle ones are also nice.

I bought my wife an Yves St Laurent bath robe about four years ago - its still as good now as it was when I bought it - and it wasn't that expensive either - about $125 AUD

I may have a different price/vale scale, but I thought that was a good price, and honestly, the quality is A+++++

This is a really bizarre thing to ask a bunch of guys, every woman has different preferences with this sort of thing... Theres a nice one at Victoria Secret that has silk on the outside and cotton or something else fuzzy on the inside that I know mine wants. LLBean has some decent ones too.
