Borrowed an XP install disk from my sister, and *poof* it worked. I knew it was a smudgy install disk.
you're way ahead of us buddy ... unless you went to asia for the disk ... it's not Sat the 14th yet.
crap, I'm here too ... wanna got out for a pint or two??
Friday 13th 21:48 PST ... hang on a sec, Friday, 13th <kathunk> I get it.
Doh! Been reading a programming manual the last three hours, just popped in to see what's new ... I'll be alright ... Rum gotta pour me a Rum, maybe a big one.
nerd, kids, wife - all have relatively the same effect, Friday Night out ... just a fading memory. I've got all three although I'm not even in the same league as most ?off regulars in regards to the first. My peers have taken to taping up (electrical tape) the sides of my reading/computer glasses and putting pocket protectors in my coveralls (not that I wear them much anymore).
Hey, your machine is up and running that's the important bit. If Friday Night out was on the agenda, would you have skipped it to work on the machine?
I don't have a wife, but a girlfriend I've been with for over a decade that everyone thinks of as a wife. I'm going out Sunday to see my friend's band.
Now, on to the big decisions:
Do I risk a second install on a separate partition to dedicate to recording, or leave well enough alone?
