I'm browsing books on laundry on Amazon.com tonight (don't laugh) and I come upon a promising book called "Betty's Book of Laundry Secrets." (Don't laugh!) They had used copies starting at $0.50, so I decided to read the reviews. The second review was from an Amazon user called www.marktaw.com! He had VERY positive things to say about Betty and her book, but his review is almost four years old now. So Mark: has Betty's Book withstood the test of time? Should I purchase a copy for myself?

The Internet is a tiny place.

Betty is awesome. I'm still very lazy with laundry, but the book is definately worth getting. One suggestion, though, which I actually e-mailed to the rodale folks for a potential 2nd edition, get the "Steam Station" iron. It makes ironing a lot easier.
