Life in Congo

Interesting laws and justice system they have there. But it is just their way, no?

A woman in Kasaï-Occidental, Congo, served beans with fish sauce to Kamuina Nsapu militants who demanded a meal.

Eating of fish was taboo for the militants, and broke the protection spell they had previously acquired from a  voodoo witch doctor. The militants conveyed a council to determine her punishment.

She was convicted of treason and sentenced to be forced to commit incest, which would destroy her afterlife by causing shame to her ancestors, then be dismembered and eaten.

After committing the incest, she and her relative were beheaded and hacked apart with machetes. The rebels then drank both of their blood.

The entire incident was captured on video, which is available from ... certain locations.

The Red Cross assisted by burying the bodies afterwards.

The entire village watched the punishment with rapt attention. There was not a single objection.

Didn't some SJW students in South Africa go viral on YouTube for insisting that Lightning could be directed at people?

A white professor at the university nearly got lynched because he said that obviously claims by voodoo doctors to be able to direct lightening were not true, and there was a unanimous consensus by the students and rest of staff that his belief in that regard was racist.

A student at University of Cape Town directly asked a white science professor:

"For instance, I have a question for all the science people. There is a place in KZN called Umhlab'uyalingana. They believe that through the magic, you call it black magic, they call it witchcraft, you are able to send lightening to strike someone. Can you explain that scientifically because it's something that happens?"

The white professor then responded, "Well, it's not true."

And he was then attacked and forced to apologize.

I wish I hadn't googled that.

I don't know what to say.

I guess torture is too good for the people that did those things. What punishment would be right? Grant them immortality, and then bury them alive at a great depth?

Also, police and CPS early on said that they had absolutely no reports of abuse about this family. However it then emerged that the police were involved in a coverup and they received numerous reports from neighbors and others about what was going on, and ignored all of it.
