Al Franken resigns from the Senate.
What did this guy ever achieve in Congress? I'm seeing a blank record.
He was a fake progressive through and through. He'd get on TV and stupid for safety net social programs with a tear in his eye and the get to work voting for global Capitalism and imperialism. A Clinton superdelegate POS.
"What did this guy ever achieve in Congress?"
Probably the same as most Congressmen though, right?
If they accomplish nothing that's good. It's when they accomplish things that they are screwing us over.
He was a Democratic vote.
But, he will be replaced by a Democrat, so it's all good.
I'm actually impressed with the Democrats for this, but then I'm disappointed because it's not going to fucking matter.
They were looking a bit like hypocrites for saying ROY MOORE IS A CHILD MOLESTOR YOU CAN'T SUPPORT A CHILD MOLESTOR OMG (to say nothing about Trump's pussy grabbing) meanwhile Franken's got pictures of himself groping women floating out there
They're doing the right thing instead of playing politics. So that's the good part. The disappointing part is will this actually fucking matter? It's not going to elevate the Republicans to a higher standard. They're just going to shamelessly keep going on pushing a fucking child molestor because they're so desperate to pass their cruel asshole agenda.
IF LIBERALS ARE SO FUCKING SMART HOW COME THEY LOSE SO GODDAMN ALWAYS
They are not doing the right thing. They look toward the next election and they want Franken to be gone or they will lose the seat. It is all strategy. Otherwise, Franken will hang around.
What would the right thing have been Bibimbap? Franken should have stayed?
By that logic the Republicans are doing the right thing by backing Moore because he can still win the election even though he's a fucking child molester.
Time to ghost the thread now, idiot.
Minnesotans are stupid for voting in Franken in the first place. He wasn't even a good comedian.
When he first got elected, I didn't think much of him ("comedian in office") but over the years I grew to respect him.
I still don't like his policies, or what he did to that reporter on the plane. But as a politician he turned out to be better than most of them.

You don’t like his policies because democrat bad or something more in his policies?
I have no idea what Franken achieved in Congress beside collecting the paycheck and traveling around.
The fucked up thing is that his seat is going to be up now in 2020 instead of 2022. Gives the fascists more opportunities to ruin our country.
