I don't understand what appeals to people about the cheap cars from luxury brands.
I mean, if you do want luxury, you can get a MKZ from Lincoln for the same price with a twin turbo v6 that makes more than double the horsepower.
The new MKZ hides it's Ford roots pretty well.
I've seen a couple of the new Continentals around town, and they look really good in black.

- better reliability (although Lincoln is improving)
- better dealership experience (although Lincoln will drop a car off at your house for you to test-drive)
I wouldn't automatically ignore Lincoln like I would even 5 years ago.

YES! Definitely lease it. Get all of the dealer options. Put no money down and throw the first month and all DMV fees on your credit card.
It's time you started living bro.
Nevermind. The twin turbo MKZ is an upper trim. Buy whatever four banger you want. Domestic, euro or Jap.
Audi A3, isn't that just a rebadged Golf. This stuff is for suckers, stick the money in some index funds instead.

People who buy or lease brand new cars are insane...
...but that's okay, because it subsidises my policy.
Impossible to deny the similarity to the Golf. The golf is a nice car. I think the driving experience on the A3 might be a bit peppier. That's something the OP, who drives some Mazada sports car today, might go for.
Many cars share common platforms.
The ones common with the Golf are quite an eye opener:
