Large sea turtles, and the ones in this particular case are the largest of all, get very old, easily over a century, so for the time being there will be quite a stock of males.
On the other hand, those exceptional turtles that still become male in the heat will be incredibly successful in the coming years, so those genes will rapidly spread.
Meanwhile, the number of eggs produced will be relatively large with so many females.

With 99 female turtles to each male turtle, incredibly knackered would be a better description.
Male turtle spend most of their energy during mating on fighting away other males.
That part should become much less stressful.
