Planned obsolescence could be used, although that also applies to things that have a deliberately short life generally.

"Design for manufacturability" usually omits concerns of repair. Also, some manufacturers care way too much about "style" to care about repair (hello Apple!)

Microsoft Surface was awarded a ZERO on a scale of one to ten by iFixit.

Even the SSD is glued in. There's no way back from a teardown.

I believe the keyboard is glued together also.
