Will the US border authorities still make lifetime bans for drug users from Canada?
I was watching one of those "Border Patrol" shows on television. In one episode a Canadian in a car was stopped and their phone was searched. There were a few photos of the person smoking marijuana. They were interviewed and admitted to using marijuana, supplying to friends and was warned by Canadian police for marijuana use although not prosecuted.
They were given a lifetime ban of going to the US.
So the question is what happens when the above activities are legal? How will the US authorities react?
