The way it is phrased it sounds like you don't even get stock, you get an option to buy stock. As your pay.

They’re looking for a co-founder AND equity investor!

Let me guess, all applicants must sign a pre-interview NDA.

I know, it’s a dog dating app!

I have T-Rex arms, but those are some very interesting video topics. I'll be catching up tonight, and might be able to pry a few shekels from my wallet.

I'm donating $1000, but I need to pay using a cashier's check for $2500 since there will be $1500 in expenses I need to pay to deliver the money. We'll meet at Denny's, I'll give you the $2500 cashier's check, then you'll give me $1500 in cash back so I can cover the other guys.

Thanks, see you soon.

I can do better than that. You give me that cashier check for 2,500. I will collect 1K cash from him. I will deliver the cash to you at your house for 800 dollars. I will keep 200 dollars for my UberCash service.

Looks like a fake ad - naqbaq is referenced nowhere but here.

But it is typical from what I've seen a lot.

Programmer implementing site with a couple of nontechnical cofounders = you're doing all the real work AND you're going to be a minority owner = your shares are worthless, even if the company somehow does succeed

They might find some gullible college kid to do it.

The last time this worked out OK was probably Mark Zuckerberg, and they still ended up in court.

Wasn't Zuckerberg paid by the Winklevoss twins?  (not free)

They paid him, but he instead worked on FaceBook, a similar site, while delivering to them a lousy website.

Did the Winklevoss twins ever actually pay Zuckerberg anything? The court case only went into their claiming it was their original idea. Zuckerberg kept stalling them until he’d written Facebook.

The only money involved before Thiel invested was Saverin paying for the servers.
