Fat clothes cost more than thin clothes

Who knew!

A shopper saw trousers in its 'Curves range' cost 15% more than a pair in the main collection:

How dare they!

Thin people will now be expected to subsidise the price of fat people's clothes just like they currently subsidise the price of their plane tickets.

"The average size for a British woman is now a size 16"

AVERAGE!

So for every size-8 woman you see, there's a beached whale hiding around the corner.

This contradicts the usual situation where clothes or shoes having large sizes are listed at huge discounts and still nobody buys them.

Actually both super large and super small. You never find medium size at 70% off.

Good point, 8 is thick but 16 is positively huge. But as the average, my god.

A size 24 is going to take what 10x as much fabric as a size 2? So yeah, pay for it.

Next the whales will be saying that they should pay the same for the 12 lbs of steaks and butter they eat each day as someone else pays for 4 oz.
