Space Force - please tell me what you think they will do?

Space Force missions are:

1. Destroy enemies satellites.
2. Capture or secretly damage enemies satellites without them knowing.
3. Prevent the enemies from destroying our satellites.
4. Settle on the moon.
5. Settle on Mars.

I like the idea of putting a hole in the enemies satellites without blowing it up. The enemies have no idea why their space junk isn't responding. We can deny or confirm anything happen to it.

6. Waste money that could be spent on Healthcare or Education.

The guy who drafted that program was probably high. Did he really believe the US still has enough space tech supremacy to get all these tasks done?

MS, what if the Space Force spends money on some programs that buy lot of equipment and R&D from thousands of American companies who then turn around to hire YOU and HUBBLE. It's a win-win, my friend. I want you to have a great job!

When you and Hubble make so much money from Space Force, you and him can spend your damn own money on healthcare and education. It's called private business.

Why not fund R&D on tech that actually helps people?

Private business is a terrible model for distributing healthcare. See: The rest of the developed world.

Oh, I'll probably get fired once they militarize what NASA used to do.  And they'll hire Military DOD guys who promise much, cost the moon, and deliver little.

You know, like the F-35, and Littoral Ships.  More and more, this "Free-market can do anything, lets give them MORE money for DoD with even LESS oversight" is resulting in HUGE spending on the military for not much bang for the buck.

On the other hand, the Trump administration now has a track record of proposing ambitious programs and goals that they have no intention of following through on -- or are so incompetent that their follow-through is completely inept.

Trump and the Republicans don't have that long to remain in power, after the 2018 elections.  America isn't going to leave a destructive and corrupt Republican Congress in place while it's obviously refusing to act as a check-and-balance to a destructive and corrupt white-house.
