So I have been lookin at Garmn Fenix 5 and newer models.

They are better than Apple Watches for sport tracking activities. Then I realized that you can't replace the internal battery after 5 years unless you can do soldering/de-soldering well.

Hey, this can be a side business for the people who can offer this kind of service affordably.

That simply isn't viable.

People won't pay more that $50 for his service.

After overheads, you would need to repair around 3-4 per hour to be viable, that's 10,00/year, the market isn't that big.

If they changed the design so they stop working after you've fiddled with them, you'd go bust overnight with huge legal liabilities.
