While we were on OT, JOS was always in the sidebar to visit when we got bored.

Now that it's divorced, it takes much more effort to go there. And we're lazy.

Wow, only five new threads today so far.

Although to be fair, CoT traffic is also way down compared to ?off. We get the same number of new threads, but not as much of a discussion in them.

Guess the lurkers and anonymice were an important part of it as well... (Although we've still got plenty of lurkers, if the AnTyx logs are anything to go by.)

I only get around two dozen hits a day from this place.  Are you saying you get more?  Is your name that much more interesting than mine to click on?  :)

For the last four days or so I've had about 60 hits per day, maybe 35 unique visitors - but I don't get as much just from the link in my name. Besides, since the domain redirects to Blogspot, I can't reliably tell who clicked on my name because the referrer says www.antyx.net. If it's a link to a post, I see full path to the topic in the referrer.

Curiously enough since about the new year, I've been seeing a couple dozen hits per day reliably without posting any new material. But admittedly part of that is Google/MSN love for my reference articles. MSN is my bitch.

Oh yeah, and you should see the traffic from Google searches for Chris McKinstry. ;)

The fact that there is now way of accidentallly passing by here from a site with some major traffic could be a problem for this forum in the long run.

Means we just have to make an effort to advertise. (Besides, now that we're not weighed down with the referrer blocker, we should get fair PageRank.)

Just post there once in a while with crazyontap.com as your url. :)

But that's about the same I got from ?off.

Sounds about right, you're a lot more... active than I am. (I was going to say confrontational, but I do occasionally post extremely contradictory and politically incorrect opinions, while you just spam and curse.)

I post plenty of inflammatory, contradictory, argumentative, WELL WORDED AND CONSIDERED opinions in between.  :)

As far as I can tell if you post to JoS with here or the blue room as your url you shouldn't have any problems.  But if you mention either site in your post it will dissappear sometime during (GMT-5) office hours.

My reference to ectopia is holding up but maybe i'm the only one who can see it :-)
