"A man who said he robbed a downtown Shreveport bank because he was out of a job and hungry has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for first-degree robbery."
Interesting thing to think about...http://wesawthat.blogspot.com/2009/01/shreveport-man-gets-15-years-for.html
"A man who said he robbed a downtown Shreveport bank because he was out of a job and hungry has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for first-degree robbery." if hungry, go to the y.
seriously, i went on a full out crusade last month for the homeless. and i was absolutely blown away by the services already available. you don't knock over a bank 'cause you are hungry. you go to a food bank. you beg, you steal bread. fuck that guy. his take of $100 on a BANK ROBBERY underscores his idiocy. let him rot in jail. when banks are seen vulnerable to robbery, it causes out society to collapse. fuck that idiot. let him rot in jail. Yeah!!! There's socially acceptable robberies, and there's unacceptable. This guy crossed the line. You can't rob a financial institution unless you are a part of it. Didn't he know that?
You must NOT steal above your CLASS! Don't they have a protocol or something. Can a guy really walk up to a teller and ask for money and they give it him.
I am surprised the defending attorneys couldn't have gotten him off. Pretended he was joking or insane. There was no aggravated assault. No forcible entry or anything. I'm pretty shocked. "You must NOT steal above your CLASS!"
fucking lol. its the core of cost benefit analysis. knocking over a bank gets the fbi automatically involved. hitting the next town over's bodega gets their local cops involved. nothing to do with class, everything to do with cost/benefit. -1, sharkfish. "

by your description, it kind looks obvious. If you want to steal a hundred dollars from a bank, open an account and deposit an empty ATM envelope. You can withdraw a hundred dollars immediately even before the deposit gets processed.
The bank will catch on and probably close the account, but an amount this small won't get referred to police. So yeah, the guy was pretty stupid. |
