I had grabbed Offtopic through HTTrack.
Here it is.

Currently some files are still getting uploaded, so if you get 404 for some thread, try after few hours when all files would have been uploaded.

All the sidebars, tops, bottoms link back to the forum. Good work, that man!
Oh, I see. You did 1 layer deep. Everything inside the thread is a "live" link.
some of the topics are still linking back to joel :( we still need the real database I think
FullNameRequired:
Could you give me an example of that? Thanks, The only things I can find that link back to the original ?off are the "Other recent topics" button in a thread and the "Off Topic" text at the top when viewing a thread. Oh, and things like "Reply to this topic" and whatnot, but they're obviously no longer relevant.
Looks like some of them were scraped at a point when FogBugz had fallen over -- all the links point to the right place, but the top few, eg:
http://offtopic.phpkid.org/discuss.joelonsoftware.com/default957e-2.html?off.9.51418.9 show the good ol' FogBugz error message. A bit further down the list: http://offtopic.phpkid.org/discuss.joelonsoftware.com/defaulte4c5.html?off.9.48333.15 and they're fine. ahh, that'll be it. stupid Fog Forums, they were wonky as shite.
some good stuff was lost though...a few minutes of downtime results in a lot of lost posts.
so, we still need the archives. > Error: -2147217843: Login failed for user 'FogBugzS'.
If there was any concern that the errors revealed too much of the database structure, posting the username just has to make things worse. And the RSS feed suggests that it's all still there -- the only item it returned was labelled "log in". Midnight hacking raid, anyone? :P
