CoffeeGeek.com

Someone heavily involved with ?joel or ?off discussions some time back mentioned their website, which was some sort of coffee related website. Today I saw a PR piece in the newspaper - a newsvertorial about CoffeeGeek - and the website and domain looked familiar.

Did someone in "these" parts strike submarine PR gold?

Yeah.  That site belongs to my old employer.

We're currently in negotiations to radically increase the hosting (since it's not adequate anymore).  At one time, it was hosted on the same server as this place is now.

I wrote all the code for that site and it runs on the content management system I designed.

Hold it, coffee geek is local (Burnaby or something) isn't it?  Are you in (greater) Vancouver, AHA?

Small world...

My wife's gonna be turning her family's former corner store into a specialty roasting place (Real Soon Now).  When we were at Coffee Fest in Seattle last year, the roaster salesman was trying to introduce us to the Coffee Geek, but we never got a chance to meet him.
