Reconciling assholes for nearly a decade.

muppet and cosmic karma

When it comes time for muppet to be repaid for all the unfortunate wildlife he has delighted in squishing, squashing and otherwise obliterating, this is the 6 ft tall nemesis that will return to suck out all his juices and leave him an empty shell:

you should be warned if you have certain phobias.

Dude, I don't kill spiders unless they're the size of my fucking hand and jump out at me in a dark toolshed.

Brown recluce, is it?

Well, I think nature has it's place -- OUTSIDE the house.  INSIDE the house is for humans, and whatever pets we deem worthy.  It's called Stewardship when we remove (or destroy) the critters that try to come INSIDE without permission.

After all, OUTSIDE the house is a MUCH larger area.

No I let the bugs inside live, unless they're destructive, which drives my fiance nuts.  I don't kill spiders, but I do kill ants, or flies, or mosquitoes.

We have some little black spider dudes that do a REAL good impression of a black widow in low light.

You deem whatever life lives in your house 'worthy' you want to, dude.  Personally, most insect life in my house IS destructive -- except for small spiders, they are kind of cute.

Those webs in the corner can be unsightly.  And NEVER let a cricket in, those things are noisy and hard to find at 2:00 in the morning.

We have some sort of cicada in our basement.  Or if it's not, it's the cricket from Hell.

I let the spiders live. I don't know why.

Maybe because I know they eat the other critters I hate.

It's not a brown recluse--wrong geographical region. I think it's an ordinary kind of funnel web spider. I found it trapped in the bathtub one morning and decided to take some pictures of it.
