Unfortunately there is pretty much no telescope with the power to see something spaceship-sized on the moon.

Well, it happened.

It was very similar to the explosion shown on the Ant Bully -- namely, a TINY little 'puff' of light.

I think you'd have needed a very powerful telescope to see it.
